Conference Dinner

The Conference Dinner will take place on Thursday 6 September at the 'Top of the Terrace' at Norwich City Football Club starting with an arrival drink at 7.30 pm and dinner a 8.00 pm. Catering will be provided by Delia Smith's Canary Catering. The cost of the dinner is £36.00 per head which also includes a welcome drink (sparkling wine or non-alcoholic punch), table drinks (1 bottle each of red and white wine per table of 10) and disco following the dinner. There will also be a cash bar. If you would like to attend the dinner but have not booked your place, please visit the online conference registration page to pay for your ticket.

Public transport is widely available with buses going direct from UEA campus to Norwich Station and then a 5 minute walk to the venue. Bus routes and timetables will be included in your conference pack.

For those who want to take their own cars, ample free parking is available on site. The address is 'Top of the Terrace', Barclay Stand, Norwich City Football Club, Carrow Road, Norwich, NR1 1JE.

The venue is on the 2^nd floor and unfortunately there is no dedicated lift; if you have problems negotiating stairs, please could you email challenger2012@uea.ac.uk and arrangements will be made for you to use a nearby lift.

For your entertainment, music before and during dinner will be provided by The Malt House String Quartet who are a group of classically trained orchestral and chamber musicians based in Norfolk (http://www.malthousestringquartet.com).

After dinner, a disco will provide music for those who wish to work off a few pounds and a cash bar will be available.

The evening ends at 0100 but for those of you who wish to carry on dancing, there are numerous clubs open at the nearby Riverside development and Prince of Wales Road.

If anyone wants to stay overnight, there is a Holiday Inn at the football ground and discounted rates are available for those attending an event on site.
